The message came through loud and clear from a major Gold Coast survey that the community wants a cultural precinct.
Half a million people voted with their feet last year by visiting the existing cultural facilities
of the Arts Centre.
We are a city rich in sports facilities, beaches and natural environs, but we lack cultural infrastructure.
And within a few years, our population will start to reach a million which is why we need to consider the community and what they need now and into the future.
It is time for us to embrace a Cultural Precinct and time for you to have a say.
